M Pope, 2012 My fourteen month old son Kellen has been treated by Nina from five weeks old, following a difficult vonteuse birth with added complications. Working with Nina has been a very positive and supportive experience from which I feel Kellen has benefited in several ways. His skull had several ridges due to the vonteuse and these have been softened and corrected. His early frequent posseting was reduced and teething pain softened. Kellen has also been treated following vaccinations, which i believe has helped reduce any negative effects. It has been a pleasure to visit Nina and i am most grateful for her efforts to support my family through the ups and downs over the last year. My son of 16 years age has Asperger's Syndrome, and when we started treament woth Mrs. Manston, nearly 7 years ago, his whole health and quality of life,was very poor, with difficulties with diet and digestion, and socialising at school, and with enjoying learning with others in a school setting. Within a very short period of time, my son's health and the Asperger's symptoms, were greatly improved, mainly via cranial osteopathy, and he now goes along for occasional check-ups, once, or perhaps,twice a year, is at college and doing very well on all fronts. My daughter came to see Mrs. Manston with Glue Ear, sleep apnoea, enlarged adenoids, and tonsils; blocked tear duct,and nose,mouth-breathing, and general sluggishness and,not surprisingly,diffculty getting up in the mornings. With some dietary modifications, such as adding Probiotics for the gut following previous use of antibiotics, and avoiding cow's milk products and substituting goat's milk where necessary, and keeping off simple sugars, a lot of the catarrhal problem has hugely improved obver the last 8 months. Mrs. Manston has also treated my daughter 5 times using Cranial Biodynamic tequniques which are very effective and gentle, in addressing the problems as above. This has meant, for example, treating her diaphragm, and the space between the base of her neck and her upper chest, so that her lymphatics could work more effectively, and her immune system function inprove, and not just the face and head, and pelvis. With gaps of, latterly, 3 moths between treatments, my daughter had continued to make good progree and has lost most of her excess weight, we can understand and hear what she is saying, and so can she, and her adenoids and tonsils have greatly reduced in size. Her sleep apnoea is hardly a problem, so she gets a good night's sleep and wakes ready, and refreshed, in the morning, and able to get up. I would recommend Mrs. Manston.
