What is Herbal Medicine?

Herbal Medicine Oxford People have always used the healing potential of plants; a wealth of knowledge has been accumulated over time which is now being augmented by current biological research.

A herbal practitioner, qualified by the National Institute of Medical Herbalists, is highly trained to treat a wide variety of health problems using plant remedies which are naturally balanced and come from all over the world.

After accurate diagnosis, a herbalist can give every patient a prescription individually tailored to their needs: aiming to stimulate the body's natural healing mechanisms. Treating not only the outward symptoms but also their underlying causes. All remedies are relatively safe and free from dangerous side-effects
